The LT-1000 Navigation Reference Unit (NRU) Electronic Compass is a high-performance maritime navigation sensor developed to deliver accurate heading, attitude, and positioning data for modern vessels. Combining an advanced electronic compass with a built-in GNSS/GPS receiver, the LT-1000 provides reliable navigation information for both professional maritime operations and leisure boating.
At the core of the LT-1000 are 12 precision sensors, including magnetometers, gyroscopes, accelerometers, a barometer, a thermometer, and a GNSS receiver. Using advanced sensor-fusion technology and Kalman filtering, the device processes data from multiple sensors to deliver highly accurate navigation outputs in real time.
The unit provides essential navigation information such as true heading, magnetic heading, roll, pitch, deviation, variation, position, UTC time and date, ground speed, course over ground, air pressure, and temperature. This comprehensive data output ensures stable and precise information for onboard equipment including autopilots, navigation displays, and chart plotters.
The integrated 72-channel multi-constellation GNSS receiver supports GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou satellite systems, as well as SBAS augmentation services such as EGNOS, WAAS, and MSAS for improved positioning accuracy.
For seamless system integration, the LT-1000 supports simultaneous NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 communication, allowing compatibility with a wide range of marine electronics. The system also includes configurable NMEA sentences and adjustable data rates to ensure flexible installation across different vessel systems.
Designed specifically for harsh marine environments, the LT-1000 operates reliably in temperatures ranging from −40°C to +55°C, while maintaining extremely low power consumption of less than 1 watt. Its compact and lightweight design allows easy installation using a pole or roof mount, making it an ideal solution for reliable maritime navigation.
