LXNAV SmartSHUNT 1000A

LXNAV SmartSHUNT 1000A

The LXNAV SmartSHUNT 1000A is an advanced marine battery monitoring system with NMEA2000 network support and built‑in Wi‑Fi. It accurately tracks state of charge (SoC), consumed amp‑hours, remaining amp‑hours, current, voltage and up to three battery temperatures, providing detailed real‑time data to your boat’s NMEA2000 instruments or compatible chartplotter. Configurable via Wi‑Fi and suitable for battery banks up to 60 VDC and 1000 A shunt capacity, the SmartSHUNT simplifies energy monitoring on board.

Technical Information

The LXNAV SmartSHUNT 1000A is a powerful all‑in‑one battery monitoring device designed for marine environments and NMEA2000‑based onboard networks. Acting as a high‑capacity shunt and battery monitor, it measures the actual current flow in and out of your battery bank and translates it into meaningful data such as state of charge (SoC), consumed and remaining amp‑hours, voltage, current and multiple temperature inputs. This allows captains and crew to precisely monitor energy usage, avoid unexpected power depletion and plan longer trips with confidence.

Thanks to its integrated Wi‑Fi connectivity, the SmartSHUNT can be configured and monitored wirelessly using a smartphone or tablet — no special tools needed. The unit broadcasts its own Wi‑Fi hotspot, allowing you to adjust settings like battery type (e.g., lead‑acid, AGM, GEL, LiFePo), alarm thresholds and temperature units easily. Once connected to the NMEA2000 network, all battery data is shared with compatible chartplotters and multifunction displays for seamless onboard monitoring.

Featuring support for three separate battery banks and compatibility with up to 60 VDC electrical systems, the SmartSHUNT 1000A is ideal for larger vessels with high‑capacity battery banks used in trolling motors, house loads, solar power systems or hybrid installations. Its robust construction and marine grade design ensure reliable operation in harsh nautical environments.
